Our Story
Why we make memorial portraits — and why every portrait begins with your story, not a template.

It started with a goodbye
Like so many pet parents, we learned that grief for an animal is grief for family. The house grows quiet in a very particular way — the hallway at dusk, the empty spot on the couch, the sound that doesn't come when the door opens.
When we looked for something to hold onto, we found plenty of generic pet art. Portraits of a dog. A cat. Beautiful, maybe — but they could have belonged to anyone. That wasn't the animal we were mourning. Ours had a crooked ear, a favorite sunny tile, a nickname only we used.
So we built the thing we wished existed: a memorial portrait that begins with your photo and your stories — the little details only you knew — and paints them into a keepsake that is truly, unmistakably them.
What we believe
- They were never "just a pet." They were family, and family deserves to be remembered with care.
- No templates, ever. Every portrait is generated from your own photos, and you see a free preview before you pay.
- Your story is the art. The quirk you tell us — the greeting at the door, the chosen sleeping spot — is what makes the portrait yours.
- There's no timeline for grief. The portrait will be here whenever you're ready. Come back anytime.
How the portraits are made
We use artist-guided AI — think of it as a skilled artist who studies your photos and your stories, then paints from them. You choose the style: Soft Watercolor, Classic Oil, Gentle Sketch, or Rainbow Bridge. Their name and dates can be inscribed by default, like a signature on a keepsake.
Most portraits are ready in minutes as an instant digital download. Museum-quality framed prints are available if you'd like something to hold.
If you're ready, create their portrait — the preview is free, and there's no pressure at all.
